He had apprised her that his friend Antonio had been collecting pearls from the ocean floor since his childhood, and had entrusted Kit to prepare them as a wedding gift for his brother's bride, a small side-trip that Silver thought might be fun for her and Tyler.

Fun - how she needed fun.

It had been over two years since she'd had a break from the hospital, so she was especially looking forward to her Mexican vacation with Tyler. They had planned to settle into the beach house, then enjoy the sun for a couple of weeks before attending the medical conference in Mexico City.

Silver was certain that Tyler would be so pleased to see her that he wouldn't mind driving to Oaxaca Valley to deliver the pearl ensemble to Kit's friend, Antonio.

Tyler. He had only been gone a couple of days and oh, how she missed him. Handsome too; blond hair, blue eyes, same interests as her - even worked at the same hospital, although in different fields. Silver headed up the ER and Tyler worked in radiology.

Yes, he'd completely stolen her heart away, a wan smile pasted onto her pink lips as she continued to think about him. And not too soon either as the years appeared to be clicking by faster and faster these days, perhaps due to her busy schedule.

Now it was time to stop and smell the roses, and what better place than on the warm sands of Mexico?
