He was an idiot for mentioning the wolves and coyotes. And bears. "Well, I suppose that you can," he finally relented. "The baby - it isn't alone right now?" Susie shook her blond locks, her face pinched. "No, I'm holding her," she told him. "This is my baby, Precious. Her first camping trip," she went on to share, holding the dog up for Rich's close inspection. He darted back as Precious barked into his face, obviously stunned to find a stranger a hand's space away. "You like the nice man, don't you Precious?" the lady cooed, Rich focusing on her puffy red lips. Jagger lips, quite the rage these days. And he had to admit that they looked quite sexy. Matched the red pj's, too. "Do you need some help moving the tent, ma'am?" he asked, thinking that it might be nice having a lady on board, especially a pretty lady. "Oh that would be so sweet of you," Susie cooed again, Rich finding that he enjoyed it more when she cooed at him rather than to the mutt. "Just let me tell the boys what is going on," he told her. "Wait here." Susie nodded and watched him return to the boys and after a quick explanation, he returned and walked with her to her campsite. The Concubine (25 pages) Kade narrowed his eyes at her through the sunglasses as she attacked again, her mouth so sunburned that it looked like a blow fish. One that wouldn't shut up. "I-I can't believe you told them I was your-your concubine! And-and your accent was horrendous.
