Going to the long oval mirror, Sheraton considered her hour-glass form - the soft rounded curves, her long golden hair, the heart-shaped face, the mellow blue eyes which had enticed a few in their day.  

Not bad, she decided without a thread of conceit.  This was all-out war and her body might prove to be the weapon of mass destruction.

Until now, she had never used her femininity deceitfully.  But fair was fair and seeing as how Mr. Daniels had entrapped her uncle, Sheraton would now outwit him by using all the cunning and charm that she possessed.

Brick Daniels might have been able to convince her unsuspecting turtle-aged uncle of his rawhide to riches tale, but he had a surprise in store if he expected her to flicker around his vinegar-tainted promises as if they were honey.  Come here, said the spider to the fly....

" Now look what you’ve done!" Travis convicted with malice.

 

" What?   Me?   You’re the idiot," she accused.

 

She stopped arguing instantly and stood in mystified horror as he began collecting the dainty, more personal objects and then started stuffing them into the open case.

 

" Just what do you think you’re doing!" she huffed, jerking a lace bra from him.   But he had such a firm grip on the thing that it ricocheted from her hand and popped him tartly on his doubled fist. Click to continue
