" Her name is Violet," Bret quickly corrected.
" Looked like a princess to me," Frank begged to differ, studying Bret's face a bit too close for comfort. " Appears to be a far cry from that ex-wife of yours. Princess appears to be as sweet as molasses."
" They all are at first glance," Bret reminded. " But this one appears to be a bit of a tenderfoot. She'll never be able to manage Aunty. Should have sent her packing when she arrived in that ridiculous tiny pink ride of hers," he continued, remembering that he'd been too lost in her pool of blue eyes.
