SUDDEN THUNDER, a Short Love Story - Page 1 Breckland eyed the luxurious grey Mercedes with caution. How oh how had it landed in the back woods of the Louisiana bayou? Amid her spiraling thoughts she simultaneously brought her ancient jeep to an abrupt halt, the male stranger waving her down - his face appearing a bit frantic. Young…perhaps twenty-ish she decided amid her brief inspection, her eyes lighting on his thick cap of flaxen hair which was currently in full disarray serving to emphasize his scattered gaze. Breckland hopped out of the jeep as he approached her, his handsome face suddenly transforming and he appeared both grateful and anxious. She had to hide a smile as he paused to straightened his expensive looking suit before addressing her - which frankly looked as defused as his hair. It was hot and steamy and she knew that he must be smoldering beneath the fine fabric and she was amused that he hadn‘t removed his jacket. “Thanks for stopping,” he managed, his voice very deep and sounding well-educated.
