"Heyz, I likes these glasses,"
she managed, Nick viewing her with amusement as her thoughts had been in
line with his.
"Coffee cups," he supplied,
and he remembered her watching him wash them out with a bit of wine as they
had settled in front of the warm, crackling fire.
"Ooh, this seat is comfy,"
Fayne giggled, bouncing up and down on the tattered truck seat that he had pulled
out of the truck for them to relax on while eating their make-do supper.
He reached over for her cup in an
attempt to remove it from her as he felt that she'd had a bit too much to drink
but Fayne, whipped it away from him, the contents spilling over the side and
onto the earth floor, but she was too wiped out to notice.
"I think you've had enough-"
"Do you?" she giggled,
everything about her beginning to look so fuzzy. And Nicky looked pretty darn
good, fuzzy.
