Under the Golden Moon by Sky Taylor

"No. The terrain around here
isn't exactly cell friendly," he reasoned.
"Exactly. Even so, I don't
own a cell. In fact, I don't even own the sports car. Oh heavens, Aaron isn't
going to be thrilled to see me," she murmured more to herself than to the
curious Nick.
"Aaron? A man friend?"
he asked, not knowing why he cared.
"My brother," she clarified.
"More like a father than a brother, I suppose, because he raised me. We're
quite a few years apart in age."
When she looked up to gaze into
Nick's face, the wisp of light waving in the distance behind him prompted a
shrill scream to pass through the bright red lips, Nick rolling off a curse
as he darted back - away from the scream.
"Over there! Look! Behind you!
A-a ghost! I saw a ghost!" she told him, wasting no time in closing the
distance between them.
Nick would have glanced behind him
if it had been possible. With Fayne suddenly wedged between him and the steering
wheel, he was suddenly imprisoned.
