Under the Golden Moon by Sky Taylor

Nick narrowed his eyes at her and
reasoned, "Fayne, I wouldn't take much salt in silly superstition. After
all, you managed to walk away from what could have been a disastrous event.
Furthermore, I'm a bit stunned that our local ghost has become so famous. Perhaps
I should set up a souvenir shop - sell some ghost potions and protective necklaces-"
"If you make it out of here
alive, that is," Fayne countered, suddenly feeling more nervous than before
as the large moon appeared above the woods, the branches of the trees casting
an eerie shadow over its golden face. She sighed, then loosely commented as
she ran a hand over her weary face, "My brother is going to go nuts if
he doesn't hear from me tonight."
"Wait a minute," Nick
began, shaking his head as the thought of a cell phone occurred to him. "What
about a cell phone? Hard to believe that a lady behind the wheel of such an
extravagant machine doesn't have a cell in tow."
"I assure you that I don't.
Odds are, you don't either," she countered.
