" Such innocence," Bianca reeled out, sending a sympathetic look to her frustrated-looking sister.

" You'll see," Mitzi negatively echoed, her body unraveling as Bianca applied the brakes. They did not lock until they were applied a second time.

Then they were both at the monstrous, carved door, Bianca brazenly banging on its front. A severe-looking woman appeared, her raven hair coiled into a tight bun on top of her head. Her neck was overly long, even crane-like, and her face looked as if she had just bitten into a bitter persimmon pinched and soured.

" Mr. Lancer, please," Bianca coolly requested, her arms folded nearly as tight as the housekeeper's bun.

" Busy," she screeched stiffly and when she would have closed the door Bianca barreled into the large ranch house pulling Mitzi in with her.

While Mitzi and the housekeeper recovered Bianca continued her plan of attack.

" I don't care if he is romancing the moon I demand to see him! We won't leave until then!"

The housekeeper gasped, obviously shocked, and they all turned as a deep voice addressed them. Bianca flinched the sea blue eyes and tightened her lips in annoyance as she scrolled a glance over the stranger.
