As she searched through the racks of clothes, her mind flew back to her sister and Dale again. She hadn't expected them to be away for so long. It had taken a great sacrifice on his part to discard the idea of college, or so she assumed. He had even placed his relationship with Rebel in the balances. Rebel was a hard, calloused man with an unforgiving heart. She knew that Dale must be filled with apprehensions, perhaps that was the reason for the long delay in their return.
