Bobo, the black and white rat terrier, greeted them anxiously. He was an adorable little dog and Pepper instinctively bent to pet his head. Bobo seemed to like the attention as he hassled unevenly and placed his two front paws against her legs. His short fur was soft and as he hassled she detected that familiar scent of dog which automatically mixed with the scent of the sea. The scent was not unpleasant, rather an intuition of awareness of her surroundings.

“And one could say that the new nanny is quite late!” a deep voice thundered from the deck of the monstrous yacht.
Pepper was too absorbed with the yacht to pay the stranger any serious attention for the moment. He was still complaining when she mounted the deck and surveyed her surroundings in awe, totally captivated by the monstrous vessel.“Ms. Prescot!” he thundered, snapping her back to reality.
