After that, he had situated himself so that his lanky form covered the entire seat, forcing Anne and the gentleman passenger sitting next to her to endure his loud snoring as he took a short nap. And now, the wild beast was awakening.... Grunting and stretching his arms, Cherokee let out a deep breath then focused on the beauty sitting across from him. He would have taken more interest in her sooner but he had assumed that she was married to the gentleman sitting beside her. Of course, he now realized that wasn't the case for the gentleman was busy knitting some sock-thing that would probably make someone a lousy Christmas gift. Obviously, the gentleman was more interested in crafts than women, something that totally pleased Cherokee because now he could make his move without worry. And there wasn't a ring visible on the beauty's finger. She looked damned good in the white-lace dress, like a princess, refined and educated. Smelled nice too. Such a tiny waist - and such long, thick hair. She had secured it at the top with a tortoise-shell clasp.
