Photography - Tips & Nature Photos, Beautiful Oklahoma City Capital Building It was a hot May day when we visited Oklahoma City and we went a bit out of our way to see the outside of the capital building. And it was well worth the extra time spent! This photo of the Oklahoma City capital building was shot from a moving car as the area was ultra busy that day. And if you find yourself in Oklahoma City, we would highly recommend their zoo. In our humble opinion, it's the best zoo that we've ever visited and this includes the Dallas and Fort Worth zoos. The animals all appeared to be super happy - and with this said, Tom and I always feel like we have to 'imagine' that the animals are happy when we visit the zoo. So we sincerely mean that - all the animals DID indeed appear to be very happy at the Oklahoma City Zoo. One of the attractions at the zoo which we fell in love with was the Grizzly exhibition. They have a very nice pool and we got to see the grizzly bears swimming and interacting. Quite an unforgettable experience.
It also appeared that the Oklahoma City Zoo cared about the well-being of their visitors as they had ample restroom stations, eateries and they even had misting stations spaced about the zoo so that one could cool off if need be. There were also ample drinking fountains and beverage machines. On a scale of one to ten - we would give the Oklahoma City Zoo a ten. We would also recommend a visit to the Red Round Barn - a free attraction in the Oklahoma City area. To see the Red Round Barn, click here. Photos, Beautiful Oklahoma City Capital Building
