Photography - Tips & Nature Photos, Texas Ribbon Snake This little ribbon snake was slithering about in my flower gardens one evening. I put him into the bird bath which I had just cleaned out and he loved the water. It had been very dry and he appeared to be seeking a cool, damp spot. The water droplets added a special effect to the photo. After I put him down, he stayed around a bit before returning to the flower garden.
