It was after midnight when Karina's tummy woke her with a loud growl.

Rising and looking out of the double-wide French doors leading to the private balcony, she gasped with delight at the moonlit mirage before her. The sea seemed to glisten under the touch of the large moon, toying with the mirrored surface, a most hypnotizing image.

As she opened the doors to get a better glimpse of the mysterious sea shimmering beneath the light of the moon, a cool breeze washed over her as her nostrils inhaled that familiar smell of beach mixed with sea.

The bay was engulfed by a huge yellow moon climbing up from the horizon like an overgrown spider.

The light gust of summer breeze whispered across her sheer gown as she continued to study the moon rise. The peacefulness was divine and if not for the mercurial moods of the Donavan men, she would have rather enjoyed this get-a-way.

Focusing on the golden-hued water in the distance she suddenly longed for a dip, but of course it was something that she would never attempt alone at night for the sea was as violent as it was peaceful, one never being able to guess its moods. Much like Bo and Coty, she silently tacked onto her thoughts.
