"You must be Fanny," he said, feeling like a fool. "Yes. I-I hope that you're not disappointed," she eased out, perhaps fishing. Disappointed? He'd really be a fool then. Nan waltzed quickly over to them, grabbing Travis' hand and shaking it gingerly. "Well, I wish that I could stay for the ceremony, but if I don't take the late stage then I'll be stuck here for two more days," she told them. "Yeah, you sure wouldn't want to miss that stage," Travis eased out, the thought of Nan on the honeymoon just painful. He quickly tacked on, "But please plan to come and visit for a spell once Fanny sets up house? I'd like that, Nan." "Oh, what a dear man," she giggled, quite pleased with the invite.
