Fanny looked more thirty - if not older, not that he had that much experience with women, but he did know a thing or two about age. "And no, I don't want coffee. It's far too hot - even at this late hour," she went on to complain. "Texas - how can you expect a fragile woman to survive amid these elements, Mister Jackson? Hum?" Fragile? She didn't look like any china doll to him. "Well ma'am, the heat takes some adjusting to. And Texas, well she sorta grows on a body-" "Like a fungus," she ripped out, still dabbing.
