Love on the Lamba Free Online Romance Story by Sky Taylor - Page 1Love On the Lamb is a holiday comedy romance of errors. When Stevie flies home for the holidays she is mortified to discover that her personal assistant has booked the same room at the Inn for her and her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Steve Stevens. Both Stevie and Steve are aghast to learn that there are no more rooms available at the Inn. Are Stevie and Steve destined to be together, or will they find a lump of coal in their stockings from Cupid himself come Christmas morning? Flight 007, Chicago to New York City… The plane was preparing for landing, Stevie feeling anxious - wanting only to disembark from the plane, grab her luggage and head for the Paradise Inn. She was so tired lately, the flight totally exhausting. Although she preferred sitting over the wing rather than the front of the plane, it had been one of the last seats available, so she supposed she should be thankful for that. It wasn’t easy, securing last-minute bookings this close to the holidays. Her personal assistant Marie had arranged the flight, as well as registering her at the Paradise Inn - but just barely as all the hotels, motels, villas and inns were full due to the busy holiday season. Then again, Marie wasn’t exactly her personal assistant, rather an assistant she shared with her soon-to-be-ex-husband, Steve Stevens. Worm. It wasn’t enough that they’d been married - they also owned a business together - worked together, still owned a house together - although Stevie was currently the sole occupant. They also shared personal assistant Marie. Marie. A total darling. Poor thing - she’d been placed in the middle of their martial debacle more than once amid the last few weeks. After Steve’s affair, Stevie had insisted that Marie should work exclusively for her, and he had automatically balked, telling her, “Never! She is not replaceable. We‘ll have to share.” Oh the nerve! Steve could be difficult when he chose to be.
