Hum…looks like she's angry, too, she decided amid her circling thoughts. She was slinging her head to and fro, her arms looking as if she were conducting an orchestra.

She was going toward Mak and then quite quickly, they both vanished further into the room, away from the window, away from her curious gaze.

Intrigued, she popped open the door of the car and wandered to a nearby lamp post in hopes of getting a better view. Yes…she could see them again and it looked as if the woman's tantrum were spended. Gosh, she was in Mak's arms doing something…kissing? Yes…

How terrible! Lace was suddenly shaken and wished she hadn't been so curious. After all, what Mak did on his own time was his personal business and shouldn't concern her. She wished again that she hadn't witnessed the tender moment between him and the beautiful stranger. And for some reason she was seized with disappointment.
