Bless his dear old grandfather's heart for keeping an eye out for him. Obviously, he found humor in the situation, Lisa silently decided. Even so, it remained an uncomfortable, embarrassing incident as far as she was concerned. She hadn't had many dates in her twenty-seven years of life - much less a blind date. "I take it that you're not too happy about being my blind date," he went on to comment, Paul tottering back over to join Rosa who draped a plaid blanket around their legs once he had settled. "The situation doesn't bother you?" she asked, not knowing what else to say. "Beautiful woman, flickering campfire, harvest moon - nope, I'm totally pleased with the situation," Joe assured, his generous mouth still painted with a mocking smirk. "I see," Lisa mumbled, feeling a bit flattered regarding his comments. She'd never been called beautiful before - at least, not by a man. The oversized jeans, the loose shirt, her mussed auburn hair - beautiful? Lisa suddenly fretted over the forthcoming daylight, for surely Joe would change his mind on the matter once he was 'enlightened' on her rather plain and very disheveled appearance. "Hey, what do you say that we relax and make the best of things?" Joe suggested. "You still haven't told me your name," he reminded with a grin. "Or should I just continue to call you Beautiful?"
