Now she looked more angel than lady. "Kassi Randall meet my son, Bret Kencade," Ruth introduced. "Very pleased to meet you, sir," Kassi eased out and Bret instantly corrected, "Bret to you, my lady. So, you can cook, eh?" Kassi fanned long lashes against her cheeks, a bit self-conscious as she had never been a proud person. "Well, your mother seems to think that I can."
