Bow Wow Pow Wow (11 pages)  "Look lady, I don't want to hear anymore putrid excuses.  This is the third time that your mutt has trotted across my property line into my backyard," Nick pointed out, tired of his new neighbor's excuses.  And God was she ugly - almost as ugly as her rotten little mutt who for some reason, had taken a liking to him. click to read this free hot love story

Brand a Cowboy - {19 pages)  "Jenna, this doesn't mean that we can't date - or that we still can't be friends," Buck tried to point out, never seeing her so uncooperative. Generally she was as good as gold, agreeing with most everything he suggested.  Except for moving in with him and the sex factor, he tacked on in thought.

"Just not girlfriend and boyfriend," she mocked, stomping her booted foot in the process against the dirt floor of the barn. click to read this free hot love story

A Cowboy, a Hick & a Salt Lick, A Short Love Story by Sky Taylor - Page 5

Calliope stood sharing a glance with him for what seemed to be an eternity, suddenly fearing that her lucky customer was mute.  He had been doing a lot of grumbling and grunting she went on to note amid her circling thoughts.

However she relaxed as he drawled in a deep voice, "This doesn't even look like the same place.  Wonder what Ely would think about it all."

"So you knew my beloved grandfather," she eased out, smiling widely again.

Heath took an assessment of the girl as she flew into a chatter centered around Ely.  Obviously, she had loved him deeply - still did by the way she fondly mentioned him.

Not a bad-looking girl - for a broad, that is.  Blond hair concealed by a white bonnet - and he wondered if the hair color were real.

Very sexy shape, too.  At least what he could make out for she was wearing a pioneer get-up which consisted of a long dress half-concealed by a starkly white, ironed apron.  She had put so much starch in it that every now and then, it flew up from her small frame a bit.  Then she would re-situate it and continue with her line of chatter.

No doubting that she was related to Ely for her green eyes bore that same spark.

The girl was likeable, too - something that he hadn't counted on when he had entered only moments ago with intentions to give her a piece of his mind.

But now, that sparkle - that smile that appeared bigger than a wide-mouth frog - and that ridiculous pioneer costume had suddenly thawed his anger. And the lady was happier than punch over her remodeling efforts, Heath deciding that he didn't have the heart to pop her balloon.
