These late nights were getting old; Chance didn't even feel like he had a life anymore. If this kept up, he'd soon be a mirror of his dear old dad - always away at work. And he didn't want to end up like that. Bad on the heart and hell on the sex life. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been involved in a relationship. In fact, he wasn't even sure if all his parts were still working. Hum....that long? He made a pack with himself to remedy that situation as soon as the personnel issue was settled. Sliding into the expensive sport's car Chance attempted to formulate an explanation that might suffice when he came face-to-face with Shelly as he made the short drive to her apartment complex. Shelly Corelly - the brunt of most of the office jokes circling through the mainstream in an attempt to bust-up the daily grind. Of course, Chance had always acted blind to office gossip, most of it harmless - as it was in the case of the clueless Shelly. Well, at least most of it.
