Sorry to ruin the....surprise," Chance eased out, trying to decide how in the devil he was going to fix the Shelly Corelly issue. Surely the girl was aware that she irritated the hell out of him? Surely she would know there had been a mix-up of sorts? It hadn't helped that he and his father shared the same name. "Oh, how sweet of him!" Millie blurted out, obviously thrilled. "Then again, he should feel a bit guilty for leaving me for such long periods at a time. I'll be so glad when that father of yours retires next month."
