Well, there had been the incident a few weeks ago when she had stumbled on the acrylic pad surrounding his large leather desk chair. She remembered falling, the three-lump, dash of cream coffee going all over her hand. And it had been quite hot. Chance had immediately popped into action, extracting a clean handkerchief and blotting her hand, asking if she needed to go to the emergency room. Perhaps he had snaked the handkerchief around her finger, she went on to fantasize. That had to be the reason why the ring fit so perfectly! Another giggle followed by a honk escaped her lips as she collected his letter of proposal and glanced over it with dreamy eyes. "My Love, although our hearts often seem so far apart you are never far from my thoughts. And as we move towards that special anniversary, please say yes to my proposal of marriage. I will call for your answer tonight. Forever, all my love, Chance." Special anniversary - what a dear for remembering that she had been with the company for two years now!
