Unfortunately, things weren't always perfect she supposed - as the typo disaster floated into her memory.
After witnessing the heated look pasted onto Chance's handsome face, Shelly knew that she would never spell 'ship' wrong again.
To be fair, it had been an honest mistake - hitting the 't' key rather than the 'p' one.
And according to her boss, Janice who worked directly under Chance, a very costly mistake for the company.
But the incident had occurred over a year ago, she went on to console, focusing on the box now. Obviously Chance had thawed. And Janice had been kind enough to salve over the moment, basically talking Chance out of firing her. Gosh - she really admired Janice - and if not for her, this wonderful moment in her life wouldn't have happened.
"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" she gasped as her blue eyes fell onto the sparkling diamond ring that was centered amid the black velvet.
Shelly pulled it free from the box and slipped it onto her left ring finger. A perfect fit!
Then again, she assumed that the ring had been crafted personally for her. After all, Chance was the head of a famous jewelry company.
But how had he known her ring size?
