The sleek sedan nestled in the distance confirmed her suspicions. "Jason Phillips. I might have known," Hawk sarcastically drawled, sounding displeased to Lori's flared ears. The two men stood sizing up one another like two cocks, then Jason shifted his gaze back to her, seeming to take her small form in - all in one swift glance.
