"Nah, it was fine," he told her. "Besides, it was worth the wait. The lemonade is quite tasty today." She thought that his lips looked quite tasty, wondering what it would feel like to be properly kissed by Jordan McGee. But there was no more time to study him in the wings as the show began. Many exciting events commanded the show - from horse jumping to a cute clown show. As she had burst out laughing at one of the clown's antics, Jordan softly laughed at her laughing at the clowns. He'd never thought clowns were funny. Perhaps amusing at times, but never funny. And he'd never heard anyone burst out laughing at a clown. Only his Kayla. Then again, she wasn't his Kayla, he went on to note. "Oh look, there's Rowdy with Camilla," she told him, delivering a soft nudge. "Stunning - don't you agree?" The horse Camilla or Rowdy, he had wanted to ask for clarification, yet he only murmured agreement. "I think she'll take the ribbon, don't you?" she asked, so excited that she had clutched Jordan's right arm and was sitting on the edge of her seat just before the announcement.
